Reason/FL Studio are the programs most here at Newgrounds use etc blah blah.
I haven't really seen much of a limit in those programs
I'm an aspiring VG Music composer. Do alot of remixes from classic games like Zelda, Mario, but also some more obscure ones too. I also post lots of original works, so feel free to scope em out ^_^

well if you're planning to do actual recording, i think Garageband is a good program, but that's assuming you have a Mac. As far as Windows goes, Acid is a good one too. Seeing as i dont know which you're using, i cant be of much help, but those 2 are good ones and are fairly easy to use. I hope i was able to help you in some small way
Haha, I feel the same, can't do music on computer at all...
I put in some notes that sound right yet they come out so plain...
Hell, the auto beat generator on fruity loops can beat me >.>
